Ed Robertson is an award-winning author, journalist and analyst who divides his time between collaborative writing and editing, and hosting and producing his radio show, TV Confidential. He has had seven books published covering such genres as biography, memoirs, media and entertainment, including Maverick: Legend of the West (“a notable work of television journalism,” according to the Nassau Herald) and Thirty Years of The Rockford Files, a behind-the-scenes history of the groundbreaking, award-winning TV series The Rockford Files starring James Garner. Ed has also written for The New York Times, Media Life Magazine, The Wave Magazine and other media venues, including Columbia House Video Library, Highbury House Communications and the TalkAmerica Radio Network. For five years he was the monthly TV analyst for The Tony Gill Show (AI Radio, Boston). He currently appears as a regular guest on the top-rated Ronn Owens Program (KGO Radio, San Francisco).

Ed is also a successful ghostwriter who collaborates with publishers, agents, individual authors and companies on book manuscripts, “hard” and “soft” editorial copy, and other forms of content. His previous collaborations include the San Francisco Chronicle best-seller Voice of Reason by National Radio Hall of Fame nominee Ronn Owens; The Ethics of Star Trek, an engaging blend of pop culture and classic philosophy that he co-authored with Indiana State University professor Judith Barad; Keep on Keeping On, an inspiring memoir of faith and courage that he co-wrote with Jean S. Davis, and Unfulfilled Dreams: The Story of a Father and a Son, which he co-authored with Francis W. Biehl. In addition, Ed’s work appears in such titles as the New York Times best-selling anthology Chicken Soup for the Writer’s Soul.

Since 2008, Ed has produced and hosted TV Confidential, a radio talk show that takes listeners behind the scenes of all aspects of television, as well as features interviews with special guests from the world of entertainment.
